I agree. I think our best (only?) hope is that a goodly number of our kids just "get it" all at once on Saturday. Yes, I realize the odds of that happening for a bunch of players all at the same time are rather small. But we have athletically gifted players. We're not Maryland and Rutgers who, short of OSU forfeiting, had no chance of winning. We need the light to go off for Shorter and for the secondary as a unit and the OL as a unit. We need YGM to play at a first round draft pick level. We need Clifford to play within himself but play better than he has yet this year. Again, not betting the mortgage that all of those things will happen against a really good OSU team. But I do believe at some point we'll look back at a game with this group of players and say "that's when it all came together." Here's hoping that is Saturday.
