Wonder if he knows if Allar or either running backs will be back.🤷🏻‍♀️
I can see both backs returning or at least Allen. RBs are tough to figure out because it's still devalued despite what Saquon and Henry are doing
I think he's fine running the offense with Beau if Allar leaves--it will look very different but we can be very run heavy

So I guess Andy wasn't on the plane after all. Maybe his plane flew to Morgantown without him.

PSU offense has had some nice moments this year, but in their biggest game Coach K didn't have any answers. I hope be comes back one more year because he does still have more to prove.

Or he went, the two parties didn’t come to an agreement and he posted this from the airport on way home.

Anything's possible but ordinarily you'd expect him to make that trip with the expectation of a deal...given that even talking to them is a distraction at this critical point in Penn State's season.

Then again, who knows.

In the end, I wouldn't be surprised if Rich Rodriguez turns out to be their guy. 2nd choice would be the current Army head coach.

RR was already there once. Doubt they take him back

It's good news for us
I hope we find some weapons for the offense next year--not sure we'll be quite as good next year but WVU isn't a job I'd take if I were him
I read that PSU had 6 of the top 10 rated players in the game vs Oregon but still couldn't win.

I assume Allar, Warren, and Singleton are gone. Perhaps Allen returns because he'll be the featured back. Also most of the OL returns.

Fleming is gone. Not sure about Wallace, Clifford, Saunders, & Ivey. We desperately need a portal transfer.

I wouldn't make that assumption about Allar. He's only 20 years old. His family doesn't need the money although I have to feel that he's going to make good money on NIL at PSU. Third-round picks make about $6m over four years. So that is $1.5m per year. When you pay taxes (about 40%) and an agent you will get less than half that to take home.

No QBs were taken in last year's third round but Caeden Wallace was taken 68, third pick of the third round. He signed a 4 year, $6m contract or $1.5m per year. Only about half of his contract was guaranteed.

I'll bet DA makes around that next year as QB for PSU.

Allar's gone--he's smart enough to understand it's not about what NIL money he gets next year but when he gets to the second contract
This crazy belief he's a third round pick is just that--crazy. This QB class is weak--he could go 1st round or 3rd round. You gamble on yourself like Parker Washington wisely did.

Second NFL contract is where players start earning the big $$$. The idea is to get that clock running.

agree but not for QBs. The issue with QBs is to be able to hit the ground running. In other words, to be completely prepared for the NFL game. Good QB's will play well into their 30s so they have 15 years to make money.

Plus as a QB, much less chance of career-influencing injury at PSU as a true Senior.

If you are a CB, DE or RB your window is much smaller.

100% for QBs. Have you seen second QBs for even mid-tier
More than anyone for QB
Look at what we have returning--he can't come back. He knows it, AK knows it, Beau knows it, Franklin knows it, you know it.
It's best for him to go.
