KO - seems very solid and the ability to just kick through EZ and create touchbacks/no return. Coverage has not been bad either, so we seem good here.

KR - our returns seem to be at least a mild plus. a few guys who can generate big returns. Would not want to see Dotson out there, as we cannot afford to lose him, but plenty of other guys.

Punt - do we have punter who will consistently do what we need? in close games we need that punter who will not shank it and create the equivalent of a turnover. do we have a punter who can flip the field at a critical time? This feels like a weakness. would like to have the Georgia kid now. Punt coverage seems adequate.

FG - can we make a short FG (inside 40 yds) that is critical in a close game? Can we get the long FG? actually, our short FG has at times been an undoing. This is an area that feels uncertain. We do have a lot of kickers who seem to be able to kick a long FG.

I have no idea. There really hasn't been much info coming out practice.
But we need to improve on FG's, Kickoffs and punting. All 3 were very inconsistent last year.

Kickoffs were good. Very few mistakes as I recall. He had one of the highest no return %s in the B1G.

I don't know I remember a some of his kicks going out of bounds last year. (more than usual) I thought the year before he was stellar on kickoffs.
And that plays right into my "consistency" comment.

Could be my memory is off on his KOs. Either way, I think he will be consistently strong with his KOs. Punting I am concerned about that area, we definitely lacked consistency. I think KRs and PRs will do well. I believe we have some players who can break big returns.

I think we’re pretty solid there despite some kicking issues last year. Hoping Ford and or Hardy get some KO return duty. I think we’ll be fine on field goals just hoping Punting
