Ok St led Pitt by 30-0.

Pitt finally scored one team point, after OK St deducted a point for bench violation.

Ok St up 29-0 during the 197 match.

======

Not sure what happened. Don't see the team point deduction, as reported by the Pitt Twitter account. Perhaps it was just a warning?

Ringer decked Wiercioch in 0:24.

Otherwise, give me a second, am flipping thru Armpitt Twitter.

Pitt down 0-33 going into HWT match.

285 - No. 20 Ryan Solomon now taking on No. 5 Austin Marsden.

Looks like an Ok St sweep 36-0.

HWT ends 4-2.

Looks like the 197 match was an absolute debacle...at least two stalling points against each wrestler. An unsportsmanlike penalty after the final whistle let Pitt tie the match to go to SV. Unreal.

sPitt shut out at home. ....

GWH looks better

Jojo gave up first td then went on a tear

Poke team deduction was during 197, in the 3rd period, after the stalling penalty point.

Wiercioch has regressed.

Also wonder how Racciato would've looked in blue/white. He's not beating Zain or Nolf, and I doubt he would've dropped back to 141 under Cael. Just remembering that Attacking Racciato was electric, and that's what Cael teaches, but Pitt teaches tapdance around the boundary.

Cant blame the guys for taking the guaranteed $. They will get an "ok";) education and have success in their conference, but yeah I do wonder if their potential was maximized.

Are Pittsburgh's wrestlers going to get medals after this performance at the end of the year? They awarded themselves medals for winning their conference... whatever that may be.... a few years ago.

And they have this little gem on Pitts wrestling Twitter page... With this 36-0 loss... Pitts win string is snapped. How did they have one to begin with?? o_O

Man, is this the Penn State or West Virginia board? ;)
You should see the anti-Pitt stuff on Black Shoe Diaries.

The running joke is calling Pitt "5b" -- a football recruit tweeted his Top 5 with Pitt included as "5b" and a legend was born.

Actually, Wiercioch was named ACC wrestler of the week last week.

Because he had 4 wins, but only 1 of them (Faust) was any good.

I guess he's a little better than last year, so maybe "regressed" is too strong, but he's nowhere near what his HS career promised. Last year he was sub.-500 and DNQ for nationals, and so far this year Faust is his best win. And he just doesn't look like a guy who could break through.
