- WR Tre Wallace looked smooth today at wide receiver and was in a line where you would expect him to be a potential starter. That will be something to watch for as he continues to battle Malik McClain for a starting spot. Marques Hagans continues to impress from afar, is very detail oriented in practice, perfectionist. Additionally, we've been told Hagans inside of Lasch is fitting in very well - great relationship guy and is hitting it off very well on the recruiting trail.
- Linebackers tony Rojas and Ta'Mere Robinson appear to be coming along very well. Robinson is worth watching extra closely since he's coming off such a significant knee injury.
- Kalen King looks very much ready to replace Joey Porter Jr as CB1, he continues to be an impressive week in and week out in practice. He'll be one of the leaders of the defense. Storm Duck has looked the part this spring.
- On the offensive line, Olu Fashanu and Landon Tengwall both appear to be good after missing the end of last season. If not 100% they're pretty close. The depth on the offensive line is also quite evident, the coaching staff clearly feels confident in their starters + most of their two deep. J'Ven Williams transition continues to look like it's going well, he's physically there and looks the part. Not sure we'll see him this year but it wouldn't be surprising if he found his way into a game or two.

- Penn State had its best practice of the spring according to James Franklin, he also feels that Penn State is as deep as they've ever been at the defensive end spot. It's certainly hard to disagree with that sentiment. He believed sophomore Zane Durant is also ready to make a big jump this upcoming season.
- Freshman LB Tony Rojas has added 29 points since enrolling in January.
- The quarterback battle has been a good one according to him with both quarterbacks battling hard. Don't expect a starter to be named anytime soon though it sounds like the battle will probably head into the first few weeks of fall camp. There won't be a starter until it's "obvious" according to James Franklin.
- Drew feels the game is slowing down for him quite a bit this spring which should be huge for him as he heads into the season as the likely starter.
Wanted to get some of this up and there will be more to come
