I think a lot of the stalling calls this year are a little ridiculous and inconsistent. Some make sense and some don’t. Good example, Keener gets called for stalling literally the split second he gets a TD. That’s stalling? My concern in a tight match the poor stalling call can make a big difference..

Generally, I thought last nights ref called stalling the way it should be called, aggressively. He was quicker on the trigger than we are used to but I think if it was called like it was last night consistently, the action would be pushed, and that is without question in our favor.

Agree, i liked the calls last night. Stall calls and quicker calls work to our teams advantage and gets the match moving which is good for fans. Fans mad at the stall calling ist just as exciting as those times when the fans are clamoring for the call.

controlled emotion is needed in this sport.

You may have been referring to the fans, but I'll apply it to the wrestlers and coaches. Seems to be an art that is being lost very rapidly. It has always been one of my biggest attractions to the sport.

Hold on, I think I just spotted some punk kids on my lawn...brb.

I agree. Last night's referee did a good job on stall calls. More officials should do the same.

I like the stall calls based on stalling not based on the referee's interpretation of wrestlers intent due to the score...

For the most part I had little issue with ref and quality of performance.

My only issue was the one on Lee. As I posted, poor situational understanding.

Which is my point. I think refs are struggling in being inconsistent with this new rule. The new stalling rule isn’t necessarily all bad, but it is still be worked out and an create issues in a match unnecessarily. It’s still uneven on how it is being called. I’m not just referring to this match , but the season as a whole as I watch matches.
