It's only 11 days until the first dual meet with Army.

Are there any signs of a clear starting lineup, especially at 125, 133, and 141, as well as possibly 197?

Are Rasheed, Cassar in the mix? Both have a lot of potential.

Is Nick Lee wrestling or red-shirting?

I'm assuming that there are no wrestle offs this year. Anyone know anything more particular.

I suspect some of the weights might be up in the air until they are more settled (at least initially) at the Keystone Classic at U Penn on Nov. 19.

And what about the radio show? Roar teased us but nothing officially announced yet, right?

I listened to a podcast where Matt McCutcheon was interviewed. Matt mentioned a wrestle off between Cortez and Lee at 141; mentioned three potential starters at 133 - Keener, Dominic G and Carpenter. Didn't pick up any insights into 125.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Southern Scuffle was the key date for a weight or two.

In a double whamy case of coach understatement speak, Cael and Casey both told me if they remain healthy they be pretty good this year.

I heard that too, and i just have a feeling Matt has the 197 spot, but no insider knowledge. I hope he gets on the podium, what a great ambassador for PSU.

From your post to God’s ears! I feel good about it, but after last night I don’t trust my good feelings anymore.

we have 2 tourneys on the schedule where these guys meeting up has a high degree of probability, especially keystone.

would imagine these will factor into the decision.

I’m going with Lee at 41... and I know it won’t be popular, but I’m taking Cassar to win the spot before the year is out.

haha, Slush. Surprised? I would be surprised if it wasn't a key date......since it pretty much is used to solve a weight or two every year. lol

So, since Lee and Cassar won the wrestle offs, are they likely to get the start next week? I assume Cael will address these and other issues on Thursday. I'm also curious about Rasheed's status -- rumors of injury?
