If Steelers lose to the Bengals to make it 4 straight losses to end the regular season. and then get bounced from playoffs in the first round, does Tomlin finally lose his job?

His seat gets hot though. That's unavoidable no matter how much the Roonies and the talking heads love him...

It's now a pattern: His teams fade Down the stretch. This play calling by Arthur Smith is downright vile. 2 runs and an incomplete pass every new possession

Judging solely by the views expressed on the board, Steelers fans would be thrilled if they knock Baltimore out of the playoffs even though no one in America considers the Steelers a Super Bowl contender. That includes the whole city of Pittsburgh. Given the competitive nature of the NFL that could happen even though the Ravens are a legitimate Super Bowl contender. So I’m sure the people running the Steelers business, knowing their fan base, will continue with the status quo. Making the playoffs and beating Baltimore is about the best they can hope for.

But it looks liked the Ravens finally broke the code on the Steelers.

Beating Baltimore gives Tomlin another 5 years--go Baltimore
We all know the only reason Pittsburgh might win that game

This offense could not possibly be any less boring and unproductive How have they won any games?!?!

Just pathetic. 2 yards running and a chuck and duck prayer. That's the entire offense. This has to be the worst receivers in football. 5 for 14 for 45 yards passing.

The Steelers don't care what the fans think regarding Tomlin--Tomlin's not going anywhere--he'd have been gone 3 years ago if the fans mattered

Steelers have completely regressed this season. I don't see them winning a playoff game. Par for the course over the last decade.

And what do you know, a QB sneak for Cincy that gains 3 yards yet the Steelers can't gain 2 feet. Pathetic.

Why is that not a penalty if the play clock hits zero before the game clock does? Is there some rule that it doesn’t count if it’s within one second?

I wonder if Arthur will run into the middle again down 12 with 9 minutes left 😂

He's nothing more than Tomlins yes man.

It's funny watching the sacks Russ and Burrow have taken care and thinking about the criticism that Drew gets for every sack he takes
QB will always take sacks

We
People are getting very sick of this shit. Aikman just straight up called them out a few minutes ago.
Pathetic loss. Do just enough to lose. Fumble a punt, can't make 1 yard on 2 tries, completely botch a potential game winning drive. This team is just like every other Tomlin team over the past decade. It really doesn't matter, even if they had gotten the 5 seed they would find a way to lose to Houston.

So Wilson wastes like 15-20 seconds with an incredibly boneheaded play then misses a wide open Pickens. But there's more...Freiermuth drops a first down catch. Not sure how much that mattered then though.

I think the deep ball to Pickens was George drifting towards the center of the field when Russ expected him to go back to the sideline given the clock and no timeouts. Miscommunication but yeah him running the ball was just stupid.

I don’t watch the Steelers much, but their o-line looked terrible. Their left tackle got beat like a drum. I don’t ever recall them having such a terrible o-line….
