Interesting how the official thread disappeared!

What a tremendous play by the Yinzers punt team. Two different players batted the ball back from the end zone so a third players could down it at the two.

Steelers with a 21 play drive to start the 3rd quarter. Over 11 minutes TOP on the drive. 21-7.

Then after a long gain by Carolina Highsmith and Heyward with consecutive sacks, but nulified by a brain dead, dead ball trip by Marcus Allen over to the Carolina sideline. You don't see that every day...... The game would have been in the bag but Allen's "play" may lead to this being a 1 score game...

That bonehead penalty by Allen should have him concerned about his job. I hope it doesn’t come down to that.

If he's fortunate enough not to be release first thing tomorrow morning he won't be back next year. To get away with something like that you'd have to be Watt, Heyward or Minkah.

Harris has been better recently but he just doesn’t have any kind of burst. There were a few carries where he got through the hole and managed to have 7 or 8 yard gains but the better backs all can make someone miss and turn that 7 yard gain into 17. I really think Warren is the guy they need to go with back there.

Yep, and when Warren is cornered he takes pride in leveling the guy in front of him which is pretty entertaining but not really a great strategy for career longevity.

Anyone notice that with all the Steeler fans at Carolina today, there were a good many also at the Pen/Carolina 5:00 PM game? They just changed their Steeler jerseys for Pens jerseys......

How often in his pro career has he made "a big play"?

I remember a few big plays as a special teams member. Also watched him play at middle linebacker after several key players were injured and the team was desperate. It is this versatility that has kept him on the roster.
