Sugar Bowl delayed at least one day.

That seems odd. There’s nothing to say this was connected to the game (that we know of). If it was they would have waited until tonight to attack. They reportedly did a security sweep of the superdome today just to be safe.

Why not with 10 people dead by what appears to have been an attack by a driver that crossed the border two days. And they have ID’d accomplices. Serious crap and they must have other knowledge/concern.

I’m surprised there’s never been a serious stadium attack. Have a shady vendor drive a truck filled with weapons into the bowels of a stadium. A couple “fans” make their way down there and get strapped up

Honestly, just move it. Georgia vs Notre Dame--Texans are on the road this week. NRG could be ready tomorrow.

Teams can go and play anywhere. Fans would be screwed, though, as always. TV needs their money… they don’t care how many are in the stands.

As much as I feel for the fans--not much you can do in a situation like this--assuming the game is delayed

Because he had a couple IEDs and appears to have been working with 4-5 other people.

Why would an American citizen / army vet cross the boarder 2 days ago?

Screws the fans as most had flights go fly home either late tonight or tomorrow. And getting a hotel room for another night may be difficult and expensive.

But safety has to tip priority. And if they find a larger ring with multiple attacks planned the just might move the game to a different city altogether.

It would help if you didn't rely on incorrect information that was provided to you by the alt media that was supposed to protect you from the nonexistent incorrect information from the traditional media.

Fox News reporting that the game is officially postponed 24 hrs as of 1:25 central time

Unintentional help for Penn State, winning team tomorrow gets less rest and change of prep for today (which we all know they are creatures of habit). Any slight benefit for PSU is a plus.

Totally makes sense. Recent trends have shown that ISIS has transitioned and shown a greater intrest to attacks targeting stadiums , concerts and other mass gatherings in the US. The concern of a multiple phased attack carried out at diffrent times and locations has to be considered. Also as mentioned above with the potential of other actors that may be at large or if there is Intel on any cell activity or any other variables. Just a truly sad and terrible day...

First I heard of 4-5 accomplices. I did hear an air bnb that was supposedly related to this guy burned down this morning. It wouldn’t surprise me he had others helping him and covering their tracks.

I said the same thing to my kids. Disappointed because we wanted to watch the games but I’m ok for them to postpone that game until Saturday.
Yeah, I was really looking forward to 3 games but...Friday makes sense if they work around the NFL. Tomorrow feels like it could be rushed.

I guess the terrorists won.
That's what I was thinking too. I'm sure the FBI and other agencies have intelligence to justify this decision, and better safe than sorry, but it seems when we give into them the bad guys win.

Lots of unanswered questions so far. If he’s from Texas, why attack New Orleans? He passed up bigger targets in Dallas and Houston. Why attack at 3:30 am? If you want max casualties and max PR you do it at midnight when many more people are there. I read somewhere that the barriers that protect Bourbon St were down allowing his car access. Why were they down (if true)?

There is sill investigation going on regarding how the vehicle was obtained and why it was in Mexico two days ago. Speculation was mentioned it may have been rented from a third party on one of those sites where the owners rent out their vehicles (don't know the names).

the barrier system blocking Bourbon street is broken and they are repairing it. So they had police vehicle parked in street in intersection. But the guy drove up on side walk and around parked police car. Police at the big press conference seemed surprised that they drive on side walks and were not prepared for that to happen

Now there are reports that LE has videos of three men and a woman planting bombs. That is why they delayed the game.

Of course, I don’t know ‘What is a Wonan’🤷🏻‍♀️
