My bride just informed me that a mandatory family reunion BBQ of her paternal cousins, which has been scheduled and cancelled 4 times, is set for Noon of the NW game. It is near Toms River, NJ so a 2 hour hike for me.

I can't win either way on scheduling...noon or possibly 330. It is not a night game candidate. At least NW should not be the challenge they have been. I'll just spend a lot of time "going to the bathroom" and checking score updates and tape for home viewing later.

She KNOWS the Saturday in Fall rule but pleads ignorance since she was not consulted on the latest date. With any luck it'll get bumped to December!

I feel like every year Northwestern can be summed up as undersized, plays hard, can score a few points, but inevitably comes up short.

I believe NW will be in a complete shambles this year. They'll start the season with a loss to Rutgers and it will go downhill from there. They may beat UTEP...maybe. Other than that, I don't see a win on their schedule.
