Yeah, I hate that. I don't read too much into as so many of that do that now but I hate it.
No, but Amos being the only player from either team not to say his school was interesting.
Many players have done this many times over the years. You would have to ask each one why they did it to know why. The reason is often mundane but on rare occassions interesting. You would have to ask him to know if the reason was interesting. It has been so long since Amos attended PSU... maybe he forgot... lol
Where someone went to college is not the only thing they identify with, home town, etc. are others.
My favorite was Blaine Bishop who used to say “old school”
He was the only one out of 44 players last night. It made me wonder if he holds a grudge against the university.
Aaron Rodgers said he was from the Community College he went to for a year instead of Cal Berkley.
Do yourself a favor: Go to his LinkedIn profile. Read it top to bottom and you will get a sense of his past and ongoing relationship with Penn State and who he is.
Why would anyone do that? It's more entertaining to conjure up a story for everything we see.
