Sending troops into Syria is a bad idea, but it may be necessary because of the inept foreign policy by the Hussein administration. If he hadn't pulled all of the troops out of Iraq, which he did simply so he could get reelected, ISIS wouldn't be the problem it is today.
If you notice he promised to pull all troops out of Afghanistan (where 75% of the casualties occurred under his watch) but changed his mind because he isn't running for reelection.
But here we are and our troops will deploy to yet another middle eastern country. You do know the world is laughing at Obama don't you?
