At 57 for me it is like my 2 kids going against each other. Loved them both as H awkeyes.
Tonite, I really have to pull for Dennis. This guy was never even a state champion. Then the nite he had it won against Ness for the NCAA title and all he had to do was run but he kept being aggressive and in the last 10 secs from netural start he got caught in a four point move and lost it. I was there and yes for a long time I really has some tears in my eyes. He took that so hard that for a 1/2 year he lived in his old pick up in the hills someplace. Then his family, Terry Brands, Metcalf and others talked him to coming back to wrestling.
I just want for him so bad to win tonite and have some happiness for his life. Sorry for the long story but this darn sport can be so hard on a person that shows the passion and love all these guys do for it. It Is so easy for us downtown quarterbacks as they say.
