Wisky run game - their OL/FB v our front 7. I think they will run and could see them getting 200yds or more, but we will slow them down. key to game is watching this early.

Wisky pass game - their QB/WR vs our DBs - I feel good about that part of the matchup. Can we rush the passer v their OL. I also think we pressure the QB. 100-150 yds passing.

PSU run game - less than 100% SB but other RBs are solid so this may be a minor back story. what we would miss is home run, but I don't think SB was going to do that at 100% anyhow. Wisky DEF throttles our OL - maybe 50 yds rushing (including sacks)

PSU pass game - we surprise here - see us hitting > 300yds. Wisky DBs have hard time with our WRs and TM hits some big plays on the run. there will be a very small time limited pocket.

ST - we have big edge in punting, returns and FG. this is work 3-7 pts.

Wisky scores in 14-28 pt range
PSU scores in 17-31 pt range.

most likely score is both teams are +/- around 21 pts. if we had a normal healthy OL I would see PSU as good for 7 pt win. now dead even.

I think PSU could make this a blowout real quick if they can get a lead of two TDs. I don't think Wiskys O can keep up.

totally agree with that - Wisky not a comeback team. we don't exactly come out of the gates to do that though. we take a half to get settled. I would not exactly be surprised to see us down by some freak play early. seems to be in our DNA.

I don't see this game as a blow out at all. Wisky may not be flashy but they are a very solid team and will cause big trouble if the Penn State defenders come out flat and continue the episodes of poor tackling. This is a game where the Penn St offense really needs to click early and not wait until the second half.

I suspect Joe Moorhead puts together a designed first drive that yields 7 points. If he/they succeed against a disciplined Wisconsin defense, I think it will spell success in this matchup.
