Would neither surprise nor offend me if CJF twists the knife a little if given the opportunity this Saturday.
This time next week it will probably be: "well, Penn State has Barkley.... and McSorley.... and Gesicki.... and Moorhead... and they burned Fries' redshirt, but that's just another excuse"
CJF is a real professional. He's cool and collected and understands that it's a long season, lots of goals, just keep playing. He understands that nobody wins them all and sometimes you just have to take the bad with the good.
At the same time, make no mistake, Franklin is a real competitor. About the only thing that gets him mad is being lied about. Dantonio got taught a lesson last season. Now it's time for another motormouth prick to get his.
