There are few bigger annual phonies in college football than South Carolina.. and I like Steve Spurrier.
I think their fan base loves to thump their chest about SEC superiority yet never contribute a meaningful victory to them OOC and in turn, get beat up on by the big dogs in the conference.

That is true. For a team that most never even heard of prior to Spurrier arriving, they do have a bit of an SEC superiority attitude.
Their defense last year was utterly pathetic and it's not looking much better tonight so far. They are playing in Charlotte and the stadium is half empty.

From what I can see, it appears to be a predominantly South Carolina crowd. The North Carolina fans look like they just didn't bother to show up and the game is in Charlotte.
Wow! Are Big Ten refs doing the North Carolina versus South Carolina game? South Carolina throws a long bomb to a receiver all alone deep. He juggles and eventually drops the ball which rolls on the ground twice and he then picks it up while on his back......and the refs called it a complete pass. They had to be overturned by refs standing back at the line of scrimmage.
Judging from the play of UNC and USCe tonight....I'd say East Carolina has a serious claim this year!

The real Carolina pissed the game away. Fedora hot seat warms. It's clear the ole ball coach has an offense held together by duct tape. They will have a long year in the SEC. Possibly Spurrier's worst offense ever.
I agree completely. I think UNC threw 2 interceptions in the end zone instead of touchdowns where the quarterback literally threw it to the South Carolina player with no blue shirt around him. Spurrier is going to have a long year in the SEC.
