Berman cited case law showing he did not have to countenance an award “obtained without the requisites of fairness and due process.” Boom.

@sallyjenx How exactly is this different from what Mark Emmert did to Penn State?

Everything would have been fine with Sally if only she had worked out a book deal with Joe Pa where she could make some serious cash and garner attention. At that point, Joe could actually have done the things she says he did,** and Sally would still call him a friend and defend his actions. (See Armstrong, Lance)

** Note, I'm not suggesting that I think she is right about Joe or PSU in any way. I do not. I am saying that Sally and her "morality" are for sale.

I change her wiki page every so often because she is quite despicable and deserves it. It's amazing how many people piled on poor Joe at the end, but the fact that he had trusted her with his story and then she just threw out some uninformed opinion that he was a liar?! Okay Sally Jenkins--wonderful moral integrity you are showing there.

We have the wrong Masser on the board.

I was thinking the same after hearing the judge's decision regarding the Brady suspension and the NFL commissioner's response about the importance of integrity.

Neither of the 2 football leagues that make money in this country are being managed with anything close to integrity. The parties with the least integrity fight back and the ones with the most get piled on. Where's John Bacon when you need him, sounds like another book idea.

IIRC Sally was at least somewhat open minded when she interviewed Joe and wrote her first article. Then after the Freeh report she unloaded on Joe, probably without even reading or analyzing the report. Is my memory correct?

The difference of course is that Brady and the Pats fought for themselves rather than curl up into a fetal position

PSU's Board of Thieves (Liars, Charlatans and Whores) did a lot worse than curl up in the fetal position...they proactively and unjustly threw the Football Program and JVP under the bus as cannon fodder to shamelessly protect themselves like the pack of cowards, thieves, liars and whores they are...

Hopefully we can get the "Sally Jenkins to Keith Masser" passing combination going for that big game against Temple in less than 40 hours from now....

....This does have to do with Penn State football, correct?
