Three observations:
1) PSU is being bashed hard in the web-o-sphere for that gameplay
2) posters are joking about how it derailed JJ’s heisman odds
3) the game shifted focus away from cheating scandal almost entirely which is a big win for UM in the moment (expecting buzz will come back soon when TRO hearings start). There was a lot of energy around how they deserved a smackdown and PSU coaching allowed a redemption narrative.
