....should have been 2 outs with a runner on first. I'll take my chances we get out of the inning at that point.

Based on how he ended the 2014 campaign I no longer trust Watson with the lead in the 8th. Very concerned the League now has his number. Could be a big weakness for the Buccos this summer.

I thought about last year also. Way too early, though. But, lots of division games this month and can't give him too long of a leash. Dug themselves a big hole last year.

Watson didnt get the call after getting the call on the previous pitch. In reality, I think both were out of the strike zone, but if one was a strike then the other probably should have been as well. Nice win for the Reds.

yes pitch was out of the zone but I didn't think votto checked his swing ..

...Clint hurdle said the same in his post game presser.

I don't think it was so much a matter of location, but I thought Votto swung and they said he didn't go.

My approach to the Bucs this year is to avoid the highs and lows. It's a long...long..long season (too long), so I will not get over emotional about wins or depressed about losses. Of course, this does bring to an abrupt end my hopes for an unbeaten season, but I'll just have to lower my expectations.
