The relationship between Big Ten fans and Big Noon Saturday is reaching levels of toxicity never seen before in sports broadcasting. (link)

The 100,000 fans attending the Big Noon game don’t like the idea of the Big Noon game. But since those 100,000 won’t be watching, but a few million other people will, FOX understandably doesn’t much care what those 100,000 think. And since PSU is cashing big TV checks and still selling 100,000 tickets, the school doesn’t much care either.
I no longer go to games. So if I feel like watching lots of football on a given Saturday, I enjoy getting three quality (in theory) games during the day.

If you think Noon kickoffs suck, think about how bad a 10am kickoff is.

Utah at Colorado tomorrow kicks at 10am in Boulder.

Not what I "think" - it's what the article is about. Contrary to what the other pinhead posted, it is far more than a hundred thousand PSU fans that dislike FOX Noon Kickoff... - the articles point is that the fans of NO SCHOOL who FOX has broadcast rights to likes it. Universal dislike of FOX's Broadcast by the fans of all schools subject to their "Fox Noon [EST] Kickoff".

And it doesn't matter who likes it or doesn't like it
FOX will and should continue to do it
Colorado couldn't be happier to get a 10am kick on FOX NOON because it will get them exposure
Nowhere has anyone affiliated with the conferences or schools said a negative thing about it. They're happy to take the money.
Fans bitch about everything--see everything you post. The refs suck, the networks paying billions sucks, college football sucks. blah blah blah blah blah
FOX wins this battle--it's not even a battle--just losers bitching

No one said it was a battle - you are the one bitching about people expressing their OPINION about the issue - clowning away as usual.

So, we agree--it's not a battle and everyone is bitching? Not sure how that's clowning since you agreed

He's such a moron - he says goofy stuff like nobody affiliated with the programs has complained..... they're all very happy..... blah, blah, blah.... Given that the Boosters and Season Ticket Holders are also the primary donators to NIL Pools, I'd hardly say they're not an interested party. He also likes to claim that it is only a few people when the article states that the timeslot is universally hated by all fan bases it applies to (and it is a media/broadcast specific publication).
