Dakota Prukop has his list narrowed down to two -- Alabama and Oregon. The graduate transfer quarterback who obtained his release from Montana State visited both Eugene and Tuscaloosa over the weekend and his set to announce his decision on Monday.
The 6-foot-2, 190-pound redshirt junior will have one year of immediate eligibility remaining when he makes the jump from FCS to FBS in 2016.
This past season, Prukop passed for 3,025 yards and 28 touchdowns and ran for 797 yards and 11 additional scores, leading the Bobcats to a 5-6 record.
Assuming the roster stays in tact and 2015 commit Jalen Hurts enrolls at Alabama in January, the Tide will have five scholarship quarterbacks heading into the 2016 season.
I'm sorry but these one year graduate transfers are starting to seem more like NFL free agency rather than NCAA football. Not having to sit out a year and being able to cherry pick the school just doesn't seem right. How good would Michigan have been they didn't have an immediately eligible QB this year? Or Wisconsin a few years back I look at JC transfers differently because at least they have two years
