It did go on about 30 minutes too long. We could have done without the tutorial on tariffs, for example. And of course there were the usual wild exaggerations.
However, overall, I thought it was very effective. Powerful at times. Moving at times. And thankfully, he pressed all the hot buttons.
But the best part was the pathetic spectacle that Dem-Mediacrats made of themselves. Petulant little juveniles in need of a time-out. In fact, they were Trump's best selling point in dramatizing the choice faced by the country. Do you want Trump? Or do you want that collection of misfit cretinous scumbags?
Anyway, that was the first State of the Union I've watched in many years...and I'm glad I did.
