Not going to get nitpicky about specific players. Some are playing like AAs and future stars. Others are struggling.
Some coaches look to be real keepers others we question.
It's a team game. We can't segment it. All need to be good to great.
Are we content to be average. Hell no. This is Penn State football.
Are the players not playing (leaving true freshman out) better than the ones starting and struggling?
I think the coaching staff knows more than any poster on this board.
Sanctions, officials and youth we can't use as excuses anymore.
As my HS coach once said, "find a way, not an excuse."
With all we have been thru were we expecting to be a 10-2 team? No.
But what we need to do is show improvement. Across the board. I do not think we are seeing that.
