They keep running a commercial consisting of a montage of very short clips from various
movies.
And it includes a couple moments from Shane, including right before Shane and Wilson (Jack
Palance) draw on each other.
And in the commercial Shane says “You’re a lowdown liar.”
BUT - thats not the correct line.
In the movie Shane says “You’re a lowdown Yankee liar.” with a little emphasis on the
“Yankee”.
WTH !!!
Did they use an out-take for the commercial?
Did they really need to edit the scene for the one second the one missing word took.
Even worse....did they edit the scene so as not to offend Yankee sensibilities?
Editing Shane is a sacrilege.
Are you damn Yankees to blame.
