Haven't see a lot of their games this year. Has their defense been this bad all season?
They are an unwatchable mess. The most drops in the NFL, by a group of wide receivers. Yet people are on Sam Bradford. I actually hate this Eagles team for other reasons. They are posers. The talk when they should just shut up. They whine when they aren't producing. They have a huge tight end who is softer than butter left out on the counter in 90 degree weather. Defensively, they appear and disappear, appear again and disappear again.their D has been inconsistent, to say the least.
I think the issues 2nite are primarily due to injuries. They lost one starting CB in Nov. They lost his replacement, and their other starting CB last week. So they are starting their #4 and #5 CBs. In addition, one of the starting DTs is out, which seems to impacting the pass rush. Lastly, their LBs have been in and out during the season due to injuries. I haven't checked to see who they are playing 2nite. Regardless, the D is a mess due to injuries, and while they were much better earlier in the season, they are a mess of late.
When Seattle released Nolan CARROLL why didn't the Eagles claim him?? I know he had issues but he's got to better than what they havetheir D has been inconsistent, to say the least.

very lame Tom. Every team has injuries....look at Denver...Pittsburgh...NE. I believe the Kelly experiment has failed. Are you asking about Cary Williams? Nolan Carroll is a DB that was starting for the Eagles, but broke his ankle in Nov., so he's on IR.
If you are asking about Williams, he was terrible when he played for the Eagles. I don't know what issues he had with Seattle, but I believe he went from a starter, to being benched for 2 weeks, to being cut on Dec. 7th. I really didn't follow how he did in Seattle, but between his problems in coverage with the Eagles, and then going from a starter to being cut by the Seahawks, I don't think he would have brought much to the table.
