Was fortunate to see Badfinger twice in the early 70's. For one of the concerts, the warmup band was the Eagles. Tragedy seemed to take over the band, Ham committed suicide and then shortly after, fellow bandmate Evans followed suit. It was Ham and Evans who wrote Without You, made more famous by Harry Nillson. Ironically (and sadly), Nillson would basically commit suicide by drinking himself to death.
