Things are going from bad to worse for Urban in Jacksonville

I'm thinking the odds are north of 50-50 that he'll be back in the college ranks next year, either as a coach or color guy on one of the networks:

Was always a terrible hire. But it's even worse than my worst expectations.

Meyer figured get Tlaw. If he fails he can blame him.

But, to play devil's advocate, this is kind of why they hired Urban. To change the organization from losers to winners. It will be a painful transition.

That being said I don't know that he can coach. He out talented opponents the last two coaching stints.

He does not want to be there any longer IMO.

At any rate it would appear the players don't want him there.

Once you lose your team like that, you've got a very hard row to hoe as a coach.

Honestly, it's only a small number of good-to-great college coaches who came anywhere near to duplicating their success after moving to the NFL.

Jim Harbaugh...Pete Carroll...Jimmy Johnson...there are probably more, but I can't think of any offhand.

However, on the other side of the ledger, successful college coaches who turned out to be spectacular busts in the pro's, the list is a lot longer...and Urban is well on his way to joining them.
