I like to look back at this article. It talks about Cael's redshirting plan from 2009 and mentions Nico at the end.

I don't think anyone back then could have predicted how successful Cael would be.

I've read Ross' writeups this season when he collaborated with BSD. After reading your link from six years ago, I can only surmise we've arrived at full blown capitulation on his part. I like this.

In Marion's Defense
I watched the match again on BTN.com this morning, and Gable hit the nail on the head. Throughout the match, Marion had his right arm locked up by Lynch, and wasn’t able to really do much with it until the third period. Cael did a great job of preparing Lynch for that match, and that was demonstrated by how he wrestled for the first two periods. I would have liked to see what would have happened if the referee hadn’t awarded the takedown in overtime so quickly.

Oh well, at least we got retribution with Cyler Sanderson, and welcomed the brothers back to Iowa in classic Iowa fashion.

That comment, just like the article, it was okay to throw a bone to Cael back then, when they didn't think Cael was a real threat to their dominance.

The reason for all the initial bitterness was their underlying fear Cael was about to change the entire wrestling hierarchy. The reason for all of today's silly bitterness is because they were right.

I think the true kraken was a three-headed Hawk strangling, Cowboy stomping, Gopher skinning, Big Red dulling monster named DT, Ruuuuuuuuth and Q.
It's offspring Zpain, Jnolf and Bobo is also quite impressive.
