This License Plate Made My Day...

So you are guessing that it's not a vehicle owned by Thomas Henry Xavier and Janice Victoria Peters?

JK, my wife and I like to play a game of guessing what vanity plates say, and the ones that are obvious we often make up funny alternatives...

Saw this today on Route 206 in Bedminster, NJ

Virginia plate with PSU Alumni frame:

THX JVP

With the Paterno movie coming out, this was a nice reminder that some of us "get it"....

That's awesome. That's almost as good as my favorite:

Narduzzi should have the ASSMAN plate.

There was a game show back in the 80s where you had to guess the faux vanity plate saying. Used to play on USA in the afternoons. Cannot remembervthe name of it.

I also have a JVP related plate-although I won't post what it is here. It also has an alumni plate holder around it.

I had a lot of people pull up next to me and give me positive responses. Locally in South Jersey, in State College, on Schuylkill XWay, Pa Tpk etc.

Only negative I got was from a Buckeye fan. Gave me the thumbs down. No big deal.

Miss the old guy.

Bumper Stumpers. Watched it all the time as a kid. I think it was produced by a Canadian outlet.

Another urologic one was "YOURIN8" slipped by the censors. They rejected my "DICDOC" years ago in Massachusetts. Damn Puritans. "PEADOC" was taken. I went with" PENNST" when it was 6 letters & spaces. When they went with seven changed it to "PENN ST". A friend has that one now. When I moved to South Carolina my plates are "PENN ST"; "NITLION" & "NITLNS"

He deserved the middle finger up

I'm surprised that passed the censors. VA DMV closely scrutinizes vanity plates. This one is not hard to figure out.
I saw one years ago in Virginia that read, OH WTF. Took me a second, but I couldn't believe someone got that.

On a side note, the drive down Rt. 206 from Montague NJ to Bedminster is a beautiful winding drive with many hillside cow pastures, fruit stands, diners, ponds. Very nostalgic. Just don't be in a hurry because it's easy to get stuck behind a Sunday driver.

I agree. Do it on my mc in the summer. If you get a chance jump on Rte 519 to Stockton. It's even better.
