Jeez...Reporter to JG...you showed that flash of excellence in the 3rd pd, where did that come from. That could have been a bit softer from your hometown guys.

I liked his answers to all the same stoooopid questions - you can't assume anything, you have to take it one match at a time and fight for the win/pin like your life depended on it (that's how Nolf, Bo, Zain, Magic Man, The Truth, etc... do it -- yes, they might make it look easy, but they are giving "max effort" when they're out there and it isn't as "easy" as it looks.).

The questions remind me of something Arnold Palmer told a reporter after losing a Major by a single stroke and making a 13 on a Par 5 early in the tourney.....the reporter kept coming back to that hole and asking Palmer about it - and if that hole cost him the tournament (Palmer was insistent that it did not as he played each shot to the best of his abilities including trying to make the right decision as to how to play the next shot at hand....essentially, said he never thought about that hole the rest of the tournament - happened midway through 2nd round I believe). Anyway, reporter was insistent that this hole, and how Palmer played it, cost him the tournament and finally said something like - Come on, you made a 13 on a Par 5, how can you not wish you could play that hole over. How on earth do you make a 13 on a Par 5? Arnie, who was unflappably classy and a nice guy (but ultra competitive), looked at the reporter and said, "Well...., by missing the putt for 12?" and smiled while chuckling. Essentially, the reporter didn't know what the F he was talking about having never completed in a Golf Tournament, let alone at a Major - he just would not accept Palmer's answer that he played every hole to the best of his ability and fought to the end, but came up short by a single stroke....and Palmer just refused to give the goofus the answer he wanted, so the idiot just kept asking the same thing over and over despite Palmer answering the question the same way over and over.
