When a thread gets crushed ( no matter the reason or justification ) do all the posters who ever posted who received likes lose all the likes they earned.

I asked because I lost something like 25 likes on my total counter when the " JZ / Sandusky worm hole thread" got crushed.

True, but meaningless.

Losing "likes" when a thread vaporizes is incredibly sad. But even sadder is all of the posters who never got "like" credit for all of the fascinating posts in the 15+ years before the new board format.

What was the point of my 1200 pithy posts and keen insight strewn over 15 years if I didn't get "like" credit? Can I claw back and get some "likes" ex post facto?

I see ILLINOISLION here and he was certainly one who deserves credit for countless brilliant posts through the years.

I've given TheGLOV charity and pity Likes before too. I can tell you feel the deprivation keenly. Post some more and I'll help build up your total.
