Duh. One is observing in the moment. The other is looking at the overall result. The overall result is impressive, and 5-0 is 5-0. However, the devil’s in the details. We’ve had some lapses, especially on offense.
Franklin isn’t resting on 235-37 and 5-0 and deciding all is well. He knows there are areas for improvement.
But when your defense is lights out, you can afford some lapses....do we not remember the Paterno years?
I think we'd be winning more often if we still used the HD Spread.

I do miss the fullback dive play. It's a run I think we could actually block.

Yep, and four of those were home games. Out of the remaining games, PSU plays four of the five best teams left on the schedule on the road. Gonna be lots of meltdowns on this board.
It's just killing the negative types that there is really nothing to bitch about, and they can't wait for a loss so they can gloat.
I can't wait to read all the pent up angst. I have a feeling some posters have been keeping their best work hidden for the big games.
It is true and that is why - when PSU does lose a game - it will be a real treat to witness their reactions. The vitriol is boiling under the surface because they haven't had the chance to vent.
