Tickets for service members question

Does anyone know when they let service members know if they are able to get tickets for the Military Appreciation day in Nov? I'm asking for a friend that applied for tix about a month ago. He has not gotten anything so far and was wondering if hes SOL or if it was normal. thx in advance.

He'll get them if he applied. They just announce late because many of them end up on ebay/stubhub.

IIRC it was about 2 weeks before the game last year. There was pickup on the day of the game for some people in the Jordan Center before the game, whereas others had them a week or so before the game.
