Now Flocheer is on the rampage. Saw this on our BSD friend JP Pearson’s feed. They certainly stick to their business model. I wonder if they’re also asserting take down rights to vids they don’t own like they did in wrestling
Yep. It's really genius. Find a niche sport with a dedicated fanbase that will not support robust competition. Offer chump change to event sponsors starved for money, in exchange for exclusive online broadcast rights. Lock up rights. Hold dedicated fanbase hostage by inflexible pricing models that force purchases of unwanted bundled content at inflated prices. Now Flocheer is on the rampage. It's not so much that they're the devil, it's that they actually believe that shit they teach in business schools about how the value of an enterprise is solely derivative from its management.PE investors might be the devil in human form

Apologies if this is posted elsewhere, but Flo also recently sued to prevent the VAC duals (youth and MS) from being recorded and streamed by Track. I don’t know all of the details, but from those I do it’s abundantly clear that Flo has no problem cannibalizing the niche sports it covers if it will prevent competition.
