To commit or decommit by JB

Thanks for sharing. It was an interesting read. Besides Haines, is there any other example of Cael recruiting over someone at the same weight? I think the "stockpiling and sort em out later" applies more to college football (Darth Saban).
I took that as a shot at Iowa. After Lee and Teasdale verballed they had 4 commits at that time that could have projected to the same weight, of course they now only have Lee.

…and according to some of their fans, it's Teasdale's fault, not Brands for over recruiting, that they lost Renteria  I don't fault them for going after who they thought were better recruits but when things don't work out, the buck stops with the head coach for rolling the dice on what these teenagers ultimately end up deciding. How does the saying go, "a bird in the hand"

Funny thing is, well at least to us :D, a few of us joked around when the verbals were given that the plan was for Lee and Teasdale to commit to drive the other recruits away and then flip to PSU.

Yawn. I actually don't care what JB thinks. He made a lot of innuendos on Twitter after Teasdale decommited. I took it as digs at PSU. He even brought up negative recruiting. As far as stock piling talent at the same weight. Can anybody name a team that has done this? Aren't a lot of these kids still growing when they get to college? With the limited amount of scholarships I highly doubt a coaches intentions are to stock pile talent so that the kids won't be wrestling at another school. It's not like the kids and parents don't know what others wrestlers are going to that school. It's up to them to decide. Sometimes the kids want to go to a particular school so badly that they roll the dice and see what happens.
