Don’t be an ask ass.

“What is the ask?”

“That’s a big ask.”

Drives me up a f*cking wall. herbstreit did it several times during our game last night. I‘m hearing it a lot. Hate it.

Stop it now.

I was going to AXE you about Herbie’s use of the fake word physicality (not sure if I spelled it right since it’s not a real word). He uses it on nearly every play - it has become like fingernails on a blackboard to me.

The big ask for me is that “a-whole-nother”drops from the American vernacular …and “resiliency”

Corporate speak. The worst is “transparent.” Anyone who needs to qualify a statement with “in full transparency” makes me wonder what they have lied to me about when they didn’t qualify it with being “fully transparent.”

Corporate speak goes through cycles. Nobody tries to think outside the box to find any robust terms. But everyone is too busy looking for work/life balance 24/7/365. Criticizing it is just low hanging fruit that really doesn’t move the dial.

Let’s not get a head of ourselves. At the end of the day we’re just trying to be transparent.
Translation…let’s drag our feet as long as possible, tell them some BS and hope they go away.
