..... and me at home with my 4 kids, it was time to get back in the saddle and start buying investment properties again. Low and behold I picked up a gem of a deal today with a circa 1895 farmhouse. The best part is I've already locked in my new tenants with a 2 year lease! They are a "single family" of 14 Mexican migrant workers, and they love the fact that the home has more than the usual 3 bedrooms they are accustomed to. Well, not all of them are migrant works... 2 of them are burgeoning heavy metal musicians who need the space to practice. What better place than a farmhouse away from the hustle and bustle to hone their skills! I wish them luck. Good times ahead I tell you...good times ahead!!!

Some of those small towns have had issues with tax and mortgage fraud. Keep an eye on the locals, just in case. Good luck!

MM2 might just be an unhappy guy tomorrow! : )

Now THIS is the McAndrew Board. This is the kind of off season OT post we've been missing for the past few months.

I'm crying, CRYING OUT LAUGHING, here in my office this morning ... I read MMII's post just before this... goddamn, happy friday all.

MM2 is a great guy.... one of my favorites on the BWI McAndrew board. Hopefully I can get a chance to meet him at a PSU tailgate some day. As for the neighbor at the new rental property? Man, what a pretentious self-absorbed prick! He actually had the nerve to tell my wife that her new Lexus RX350 was a huge waste of money. He went on to say that if she actually wanted to get out of the driveway in the winter, she'd be better served getting a cheaper FWD car with 4 good snow tires on it. That kind of pissed her off. But unbeknownst to him, we won't be living in the house.

Your wife can drill me anytime sir!

;):D;)

Dentally speaking.

Classic!!! Unfortunately I read the threads in reverse order but I laughed the first time through and howled when I read MMII's.

I'm willing to bet that once your neighbor has some exposure to your wholesome value system things will warm up a bit. Choosing a conservative name for the farmhouse will go a long way in righting the ship. And of course the only reasonable way to ensure he notices "Feebleminded Eunuchs Prefer Gray Facemasks Farm" would be to display it on prominent signage.

Cheers to new neighbors & new friendship!

And definitely have him over for coffee.

Dang, very rarely do we see a picture chosen with such peerless precision. This is, in my most carefully considered opinion, the second funniest picture post in the history of the McAndrew board, the top pick being the guy in the kayak in the enormous cavern during the Austin Nit thread. "Helloooooo?" I've spent hours trying to find that picture again, no luck.
