The other day in response to a thread, I said that there were many challenges that Penn State Basketball has including its location being one of them. Folks driving 2 to 5 hours during bad winter weather mid week does not cut it
Today it has happened. After last weeks game against Iowa Linda and I were going to head out about 3 and have something to eat at State College and grab 2 seats for the game. Leave after it and be home by 11.
Forget it
I80 will be a mess in both directions and if not the trucks and crazy drivers will make it so.
On Sunday it took us 2 3/4 hours to make it back because of the falling snow. It is normally a 2 hr drive.
Today will be worse between State College and Mountaintop
So tonight we will watch game on TV at a bar, have some pizza and red wine and take our 2 mile drive in our 4 wheeler and leave happily hopefully with a W
But that is a big problem that PSU Basketball must live with.
