If Jacobs doesn't come back (lets hope he does come back....) would we see Rojas practicing at Sam this Spring and end up starting there this season? He seems to have lights out speed for a LB, and although he may end up at Will once he gets bigger and stronger there would be a path to playing time at Sam without Jacobs and Rojas seems to have the skills to do well there. With Carter returning for 2024 Sam seems to be the path to starters playing time for Rojas regardless of what Jacobs decides.

Carter won't be coming off the field much in 2023 and there will be plenty of competition at Mike with King, Elsdon if he returns, and Robinson. Isn't Wylie practicing at Mike where he would back up Carter in 2023?

I agree he is improving, and better keep improving as Robinson will hit the ground running shortly. Which is why Elsdon seems to be coming obsolete. He is just not athletic and sure tackling enough to play Mike at the level required to start for PSU going forward given the last 2 classes of LB's that will be competing for playing time going forward.

I really want Kobe King to take over from Elsdon. He’s better in coverage, a more sure tackler and faster. I was disappointed he got so few snaps in the Rose Bowl.
