Topic view is awful... Thread view was so much better because if people were smart enough to put content in the subject line then you could scroll an entire page to see what topics/posts interested you. Now, I have to open a topic and read through all of the replies. The convenience feature with topic view is that you can just jump to the next topic in line, but then you have to read all of the topics. There is no debate about whether thread view is better than topic view... there are only people that are smart enough to know the difference. Of course, there is nothing that any of us can do about it now... we are stuck with it.

An example could be a post from a BWI staff member.
With Thread View, you could quickly see where those posts were located in a thread. They often had key information that was very helpful.
Perhaps there is a way to search for their inputs in many threads, but that isn't apparent yet. If someone has some search tips they'd like to post, have at it. Perhaps there are ways to overcome or at least reduce the deficiencies with this format.
