Not surprised by the outcome but very surprised how it unfolded.
The Oline Shocked me tonight. They dominated. Drew had time and the run blocking was incredible. Kaytron avg 8.9 yds/c....Nick 10.5 yds/c
AK called great game. Allen sucked. Drew was up and down.
Tom Allen needs to be more aggressive. He rarely sends big blitzes and when he does blitz its one guy, just a simple blitz that gets picked up. However, Gabriel gets the ball out in 2 seconds. Allen didn't have his D ready to start the game. The secondary zone breakdowns to start the game sucked. But you see it happen with every team at times when they play zone. Just wish Tom Allen was more Manny like with his schemes. He needs to stop coaching like he's still in Indy and let'em get after it.
TEZ JOHNSON IS THE QUICKEST HUMAN BEING ALIVE! I'll never understand why a few times they literally wouldn't guard him in the slot? Literally no DB on him a few times. But they couldn't stop him in man either. I think Zion Tracys in the hospital recovering from two broken ankles from that one move Tez beat him with.
The unnecessary roughness penalties are inexcusable. Have to be more disciplined.
WORST ONE SIDED OFFICIATING EVER.....How many holding calls can they miss? Then on the last second they change a CLEAR catch by Omari to a no catch??
Penn St - 518 yds - 7yd avg per play
Oregon - 466 yds - 6 yd avg per play
Tough loss but this game proved we can beat anyone. Oregon is the clear #1 team in the country with a good D. The over emotional nutjobs that expect perfection against the #1 team in the nation should start cheering on Nebraska who's 6-6. Look around at how other blue bloods are doing.
Its funny because beginning of the year certain people said anything less then going to the playoffs would be a failure on Franklin. Well here we are! Made it to the BIG 10 Championship game with USC, Oregon, WASH now in the BIG10. Got a home playoff game and lost a close game to the #1 team in the country and some people still complain???
