Travis Etienne returning to Clemson

I might have chance to go 1st round next year, not so much this year. Kid can play- love how he put in on the Buckeyes.

Yes I'm envious but you gotta admit it's pretty cool. Hats off to him and the Clemson coaching staff.

Totally, and I wonder sometimes, in years we have been close, this year, would we have made the playoffs if one or more guys hung around? Just never know.

speaking of which...has Toney made a statement with regards to him staying or going?

They have seemingly done a wonderful job of keeping draft eligible players on their roster. Wonder what their secret sauce is, besides the usual(Money, women, steriods, etc. )
you forgot....an unlimited supply of PSURO sig pics! I would stay as well!!

Wow, someone is giving this kid some really bad advice. Dabo should be the first one telling this kid to move on with his career. He knows, better than any of these young men, the harsh realities of an NFL career, especially with running backs. Dabo is being selfish.

Wow! This would be like Saquon coming back for senior year.
Close, but not quite, IMO. I don't think I'm just being a homer by putting Saquon on a higher level, but I really do think Etienne is one of the best I've seen. I'm surprised he's staying. I don't care what his reasons are, I'm glad to see it.

I never said one was as good or better than the other. Etienne is risking a lot of money, and providing a great deal of talent, experience, and stability to Clemson. This gives Clemson a virtual lock to make it back to the CFP. Saquon would have increased our chances if he came back for senior year. And this was a thread and post about Etienne.

A very good, tough running back that’s undersized. He has very good low end speed but not much top end. I don’t see an NFL team picking him up until very late in the second round.

If Tennessee beats KC by shoving a steady diet of Derrick Henry 6” 3” & 249lbs down their throat NFL teams will focus more on drafting bigger backs like Henry and Elliot. JMHO
