So I figured I'd bring this to the test board. Here were a few things I wanted to bring up about remarks made about the "controversy" in another thread.
1) I find it absolutely ridiculous that Sandusky truthers will bring up hearsay to bash Trayvon Martin ("he was a known pot smoker!" etc) yet bend over backwards to make excuses for Sandusky and his crimes. One person has no criminal record, the other is a convicted child molester.
2) To my next point, why is it that George Zimmerman being acquitted the end all be all, but Sandusky being found guilty for molesting children "unfair"? At least be consistent.
3) I love how the "I actually paid attention to this case, so my opinion counts more!" Zimmerman supporters brought up Trayvon's trouble at school, yet CONVENIENTLY IGNORED the fact that Zimmerman had been arrested for assaulting a police officer and his ex had a restraining order against him. If Trayvon had a conviction on his record for attacking a cop, would these same people conveniently leave that out? I highly doubt it. Lets not forget how many times Zimmerman has gotten in trouble after the case. Why isn't Zimmerman being referred to as the THUG?
