On SeriusXM, Rick Nieheisel told a story about when he was coaching UCLA and they played Stanford coached by Harbaugh. After UCLA won, RN trotted to shake JH's hand and JH weakly touched RN's hand and ran away without saying a word. The next year Stanford beat UCLA, JH ran to RN slapped his hand hard and shouted "HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT RICKY!!"

I did hear Rick tell that story which leads me to believe its true. He has some great stories and always talks positively about JVP and PSU.

They want to play for Michigan and they want to play in an overrated “the game.” No doubt, many of his players are disturbed to get there and discover that EVERYONE thinks their coach is an asshat kook.

I heard that last week as well, and the hate in Rick’s voice was crystal clear when speaking of Harbaugh. I loved it when the normally polite Neuheisal was giving John Janson the business over being a Michigan homer.
