not exactly doing much to get anyone high on women's bb.. of course, the refs are doing everything in their power to keep it tight. you've got the 2 time poty getting hammered repeatedly and she's getting called for the fouls.

between the officiating (amazingly, worse than last night's mess) and poor shooting, this is pr disaster.

I'm watching the rain delay in Dodgers/SD game.

Don't see many of them in SoCal.

The only thing the media/ ESPN care about (IMO) is if Auriemma and the ND coach get into a little insult fight again.

That game was brutal.

really, really sloppy. Lots of turnovers, crazy passes. I counted two missed layups, one was an airball. Imagine that, an airball on a layup! Announcers were making excuses about "nerves" but it was well into the game.

The one guard from ND was really good, nobody could stop her penetration which really helped ND's offense. Other than that, and I mean this in all sincerity, a decent high school boys JV team would easily beat both of those teams (even if they made an all-star team from the two rosters). I love gals sports and wish them all the best but gals BB is perhaps the worst showcase of gals sports in the world. Fast pitch softball, gymnastics, any of the olympics...but gals basketball just shows how much weaker the gal's game is.

Yeah, women's volleyball comes off much better

women's college hoops is pretty much unwatchable IMO, even at the highest level....and UConn is so dominant that there's not much suspense

"Nerves" is more fact than excuse. It is, in my opinion, why professional golf is the second most non flattering example of disparity between woman and men's performance in elite level competition. It is the short game, putting and delicate shot making that are the most glaring difference, between the two. The PR would be worse if they played courses prepared for men but at women's length. It might be just as painful to watch as last night's basketball.
