This will be my last post about wrestling and this thread. I think a few here know about the wrestling board - some, like you, are very well aware and are probably more familiar with the team, wrestlers, tradition, schedule, scoring, etc. than a lot of others (myself included). My post had nothing to do with JonZ noting there are many here who appreciated the 'one stop shopping' he provided (can check one board and participate in multiple conversations without jumping back and forth between boards) for wrestling and women's volleyball and they said as much (I think they also like his uncluttered presentation and constant updates).
I've been slowly getting into wrestling - mostly by seeing clips here and there on twitter and on this board (the aforementioned match against OSU, which had multiple threads on this board on the Friday it happened) and noticed there were other casuals who liked seeing Nickal's pin against OSU. I saw a similar clip on twitter this evening and thought, 'When did this happen? I didn't see an update on the BWI Board. Maybe it's old? Dunno.' I quickly figured out it was from last night and thought, 'Hey - this might be something some people on the board might like given how excited they were for the OSU pin.' And I shared it, with an FC in the thread title, a day after the match. It wasn't a play by play, or supposed to suggest no one here isn't talking about wrestling - I've never been to the wrestling board mostly because I know nothing about wrestling nuance or scoring and like when folks here who know more give their take. Just sharing and seeing what others thought. I know there are many folks here who don't like me and who take every opportunity to snipe or sh*t on what I post - that is what I didn't like about the thread, and when Hotshoe jumped in to tell me, and others, that people were talking about wrestling and hockey on other boards, well - I wonder why we have FC; my point was that no one HERE was talking about the match, and I wonder if we're all just expected to know where all the great talk is happening. Once that happened, members of the fan club saw a chance to pile on, and they did, and then it becomes worthless.
Anyway, won't post about wrestling again - will leave it to the pros.
