Watch again. He put it right on the object and it moved when the ball was kicked. By placing it right on that object, the object acted like a small kicking tee, allowing the ball to slide off with out digging into the turf.
Bet they go back and look at a lot of his kicks this season. I expect fines to be dished out.
And this could screw with the kicker’s mind for the upcoming playoff game. Could he miss five extra points and set a new record?

Lane limped around early in game, but then settled in and played the whole game and moved well.
The o-line killed the Giants tonight.
No foreign objects last night, just made kicks. Only a bleeping New York team would try to pull this bullcorn.
If it weren't for this cheating the Giants would have won.

Pretty dang cool. The software to control all of these has to be complex. And keeping them from colliding is encouraging that personal aircraft can become reality.
