I am just back from Heinz field after watching a very exciting come from behind win by the Steelers. The Steelers were down by 10 points in the 4th quarter, but then were able to score 2 touchdowns on a Le'Veon Bell run and a Roethlisbeger to Bell pass to take a 4 point lead. Joe Flacco answered when he led the Ravens on a nice drive to score a go ahead touchdown and the Ravens took a 27-24 lead with 1:18 left to play in the 4th quarter. Ben Roethlisberger then took the Steelers 75 yards in 10 plays capped by a great effort by Antonio Brown to reach the ball over the goal line with 9 seconds on the clock to seal the AFC North Championship for the Steelers who will be the third seed in the AFC playoffs. The Steelers will face a tough test with most likely either the Dolphins or the Chiefs in the 3-6 wild card match up in 2 weeks. If the Steelers win, they would then face Matt McGloin and the Oakland Raiders which would be a very interesting game.

Big Ben is simply a winner. Always has been. I don't know why he doesn't get more love, but I think he is a dead solid lock for the Hall of Fame. He just finds a way to win.

BTW, I wonder what Terry Bradshaw has to say about Tomlin and the Steelers after today's game. STFU, Terry.

I love Ben. He is a winner. He not only has great stats, but he is also a great team player. He is tough as nails and is not conceited. I agree he is a solid lock for the HOF when he becomes ellgible. I think he has at least another superbowl ring in his future. There is a reasonable chance that he may go up against Tom Brady in the AFC championship game this year. I wouldn't count Ben out.

I think he got a bad rap with the Milledgeville Georgia incident and don't believe he should have been suspended for it. However, he put himself in a bad position by exercising some bad judgment and had to take his medicine. I am glad to see him happily married now with a nice family. By all acounts, he seems to be a respectable member of the community and is thriving.

Don't know whether the Steelers' defense wasn't up to snuff or if the Ravens' offense was just having a great day, but things looked bleak when the Ravens went ahead with just over a minute left in the game. The Steelers' offense was fantastic in the 4th quarter, especially Antonio Brown and Ben...what a combination. Brown made some great catches with additional "effort after the catch" that made a huge difference, and that final touchdown "reach" over the goal line...wow.

The Steelers kind of remind me of my adopted hometown Atlanta Falcons. I don't think either of these teams is good enough to make it to the Super Bowl, but right now both appear to be very dangerous, capable, hungry teams. As good as the Patriots and Cowboys are...well, you never know.

Looks like the Patriots are the team to root against as they have no Penn Staters on their roster! I'm not a Cowboys fan but it'd be great for Sean Lee to get a Super Bowl ring. Falcons don't appear to have any Penn Staters on the team either, though...bummer. :(

Im not a huge fan of the Steeler defense or their DC but they have had a ton of injuries on both sides and I think they had 3 defensive starters out and the backup DE was gimpy.
It was a good win.
