I would love for the nits to go to a flashy uni for a game or two each year. I know there are a lot of traditionalists out there that almost 'flat-line' at the very thought. However, in today's world, the current uniform is BORING...plain and simple. Yeah, it does scream PSU, but that was for another era, the JoePa era. This is a new generation, the Franklin era and a new brand of football. Look at the majority of the recruits we are after>>>not PA kids that have grown up knowing who JoePa was or the ageless traditions of PSU football. While I believe we should stay with the traditional unis for the most part, it's time to add some flare to the program. Quite frankly, I expected Franklin to make a uni change for a game or two by this point...and Yes, IMHO it would go a long way with recruits....maybe not for some of us blind traditionalists.
ps. I've seen some renditions on the net of unis that PSU alumni have come up with and they are outstanding.
